Julie Katherine Ough is an associate practicing in our firm’s litigation practice.

Julie is a civil and family litigator with an emphasis and interest focused on business disputes, contract, property and tort claims, foreclosure and family property division. She has experience appearing at all levels of court in British Columbia and Alberta, including the Provincial Court of British Columbia (Small Claims and Family), the Supreme Court of British Columbia, the British Columbia Court of Appeal, the Provincial Court of Alberta and the Alberta Court of King’s Bench, as well as before various administrative tribunals. Julie has a specific interest in trial work and provides co-counsel trial services on a contract basis for other firms as part of her practice.

Julie has a strong knowledge of both the procedural and substantive aspects of legal issues and disputes and has uses a results-driven approach and strategy in her practice. Prior to obtaining her JD degree from the University of Victoria in 2020, Julie was a designated paralegal and law clerk for 15+ years in British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario.
