Oana I. Grant (previously Burdett)
Oana has a thriving practice at our law firm, focused mainly on personal injury (representing exclusively injury victims) and on estate litigation (including personal and succession planning). She is privileged to advocate for her clients at various levels of court in British Columbia, including the Court of Appeal. While always acting in her clients' best interests, Oana also brings resolution to numerous injury claims through settlement.
Oana obtained her first Law degree in 2001 from Babes-Bolyai University in Romania, and her travels brought her to British Columbia where she obtained a Juris Doctorate in 2011 from the University of Victoria. She has been an associate at our firm since then.
Before moving to Victoria, Oana enjoyed several years of travelling to Europe, Asia, Africa, North and South America. While studying at UVic and after graduation, Oana volunteered for Pro Bono Students Canada. Currently, Oana volunteers with the ALS Society of Victoria.
Oana is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia. She is also a volunteer member of the CBA Vancouver Island- Civil Litigation subsection.
Away from the office, Oana enjoys keeping her family active outdoors, traveling and cooking.
