Oana Burdett, Articled Student

Having completed two co-operative education terms with Dinning Hunter in 2009 and 2010, Oana has returned to complete her articles with the firm. Oana obtained her first Law degree in 2001 from Babes-Bolyai University in Romania, and her travels brought her to B.C., where she obtained a Juris Doctorate in 2011 from the University of Victoria.

Before moving to Victoria, Oana enjoyed several years of travelling to Europe, Asia, Africa, North and South America, while working as a casino dealer aboard cruise ships. While studying at UVic, Oana volunteered for Pro Bono Students Canada, working for the Legal Information Clinic and Silver Threads Project.

Away from the office, Oana enjoys spending time with friends and family, travelling and various sports such as tennis and golf.
