Marlisa Martin

Marlisa did a co-operative education term at Dinning Hunter Lambert & Jackson in 2009 and returned to do her articles in 2010. She was called to the BC Bar March 1, 2011 and at that time joined the firm as an associate. Marlisa is developing a general practice with a focus on criminal law, personal injury, employment law, family law, human rights and administrative law.

Marlisa hails from Churchill, Manitoba and spent most of her youth in the north. She finished off high school in the lower mainland and moved to Kingston, Ontario where she completed a bachelors degree in Science (Honours), with a medial in Psychology and Biology, at Queen?s University in 2006. She then returned to her roots, moving back to Churchill, and after a few too many winters decided to make the move to Victoria where she attended the University of Victoria and obtained a Juris Doctorate in 2010.

Marlisa is a member of the Canadian Bar Association Young Lawyers Victoria section, Women Rainmakers section and Criminal Justice section as well as a member of the Trial Lawyers of BC.
