James A. Shaver (Retired)

Jim graduated from the University of Minnesota with a B.A. in 1971, and received his LL.B in 1975 from the University of Manitoba. He has been in private practice in Victoria since being called to the B.C. Bar in May of 1976.

Jim was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He is an avid sports fan and has interests in RVing, boating, fishing, hunting and skiing.

After almost 35 years of practicing law, Jim announced his retirement from Buckler Shaver LLP, now merged with Dinning Hunter Lambert & Jackson.
