Leigh P. Gagnon
Leigh P. Gagnon joined Dinning Hunter & Co. in September, 1999. Mr. Gagnon is a litigator practicing mainly in the area of family law. He also maintains a solicitor's practice in real estate and has acted on behalf of many members of the Canadian Forces in buying and selling their homes.
Mr. Gagnon was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta. He graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Education degree in 1975. For 10 years, Mr. Gagnon worked as a teacher with the Edmonton Public School Board teaching a variety of subjects to junior high students. Mr. Gagnon also obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in French from Laval University in Quebec City.
Mr. Gagnon attended law school at McGill University in Montreal, and at the University of Victoria. He graduated from law school in 1990. Mr. Gagnon worked a number of years as an associate with M.R. Hunt and Associates in Victoria before joining Dinning Hunter & Co.
Away from the office, Mr. Gagnon pursues his love of sports both as a participant and as an observer, as well as his love of travel.
